Brock is the first gym leader in Pokémon Red, in Pewter City. Brock uses Rock-type Pokémon: Geodude (Lv 12) and Onix (Lv 14). Beat Brock for the Boulder Badge, which raises Attack and lets you use FLASH outside battle, and TM34 Bide. Best counters: Water, Grass, and Ice moves.

How to beat Brock
